Like Tyler said there's no one-size-fits-all approach to a diet. Some people have miserable results from rzc such as Tyler and others have fantastic LONG TERM results with it. You just gotta listen to what the old body's telling you and adjust accordingly. Everyone has their own metabolic "type".

I was in the Marine band as a French horn player for 4 years. I was quite succesful in high school on the horn playing in honor bands and shit. Haven't really pursued it since I left the military except some dabble in bass guitar. I'm still passionate for music and'll probably end up playing again. Probably bass and classical guitar.

Carnivorous / Zero Carb Approach / Re: Raw sterilized?
« on: October 08, 2008, 09:50:11 am »
As long as you're eating grass fed or wild meat, there's absolutely no reason to try to cleanse it. Commercialy raised meat is filthy anyway and any process you may use to sterilize it would probably make it worse than it already is.

I eat rotting meat loaded with bacteria and it makes me feel great so forget about any processing of your food. It's entirely unnecessary.

Never deliberately tried bugs of any sort. They seem like they'd be pretty nutritious, though.

Hey everybody. I won't be around very much for a while because my hardrive is toast. I have to wait for the money to get a new one. I'm using the computer at work but nonbusiness is a no-no so I must be discreet.

I think having a sterile gut is nonsense and would be extremely dangerous because our gut flora plays a key role in the function of our immune system.

I think it's just saliva left inside tubes and on the tongue. I have that every time I thaw my tongues. I think it's pretty disgusting so I rinse it off first.

There's something about swapping spit with a dead ruminant that doesn't jibe with me. :P

Yes. It just seems appropriate to include actual hunting in a lifestyle that uses paleolithic wisdom.

I understand, though, that many folks don't share the same opportunities re hunting like those in the UK and Australia due to despicable gun laws. I really feel for you. I just hope the same doesn't happen here in the States. That's for another topic.

Oh, now I'm a Boar Hunter. That's fine because those are second on my hit list. ;)

I plan to bow hunt also but have no bow right now. I don't have a rifle either but plan to get either a Savage or a Beretta 30:06. I think that'll provide enough power for most large game. Duck hunting is in my sights(pun intended) So I'm probably going to buy a 12 gauge of some sort.

I'm fortunate enough to have a friend with a lease who hunts a lot and has a weapon for me to borrow until I get my own.

I see that I've recently acquired the rank of Deer Hunter and it couldn't come at a better time because I've just completed my hunter's safety course! They gave me a temporary permit till I get my license in the license to KILL, KILL, KILL! Yeah baby. I'm gonna kill me some foodstuffs.

Ah, ok. Just curious. It's just that some folks seem to react differently to fresh and pre-frozen high meat. Another mystery yet to be solved.

Just finished up some two-week old lamb liver.
I don't think it was quite "high" yet, but it was really stinky.
Didn't taste too bad though.
Could it be that only beef liver turns into soup as it gets older? Because the lamb liver was much more solid than it was originally.

Man... maybe it was old enough to have some "high" benefits.... I feel like there is energy surging through my body and my brain seems really focused. Could just be a mental thing though.

Greetings. Was that liver fresh or pre-frozen?

I was ENFJ (11-50-12-11).

They put me in the same category as Bill Clinton, Mickhail Gorbachev, and Ralph Nader. Yuck ... politicians. I hate politicians.

That's the same type as my best friend. He also loathes politicians...
