Maybe ditch the fruit. Sugar (fruit) might really be a bad idea
Jack Kruse have lots of stuff on Sleep Apnea.... you should search his blog/site.. EMF is a big thing

Maybe stop uropathy. Maybe he is cleaning out some bad stuff and for now this kind of therapy is not the right? Do lots of spring / RO water instead. No chlorine/fluoride

Do you live in a high EMF area? How does the work looks like? Have you tried high meat?

I read in a newspaper here that princess Victoria and Madeleine of Sweden's favorite foods was oysters...... :)

Also... rich and educated people often eat lots of sushi / sashimi... carpaccio.. tartar.. raw steaks.. I am a waitress I know  ;)
Not bad - might be why they do better too in many ways :)

for sure their food choices are way way better than the average population. They also do way more animal food. That is what is expensive too.

Stay away from EMF. Limit it as good as you can. There are studies how it increases anxiety. Many people today have anxiety issues... :(
Be outside naked in the nature, barefoot as much as you can. Very good for anxiety.
Sunshine, earthing, singing birds and the blue sky and the green... very healing. Summer rain too :)

Wild edibles, nettles, linden leaves, dandelion flowers etc...... eat them every day if you can. They are great.

Eat oysters. The best supplement ever. Gives you loads of magnesium too - in a bio available form!!!

Seafood.... fish head smoothie..... Maybe even fish broth? It is not raw but can be a great thing to do to heal anyways

When I worked in Norway last fall for 2 months, I was shocked to see the same wild caught pollock cost only half of what it cost here.... and in Norway you earn way more money than here...... way cool! In Norway it is easy to live dirt cheap eating raw carnivore for sure!
There you can eat he seaweeds too, very clean waters. And oysters and mussels are for free....... if you catch them...

I might move there...lol I just cannot decide, Germany or Norway  ???

You know.. when I lived in Germany and moved back here I was so scared i will not find any meat and fish sources. Food is way more expensive here than there.... and harder to find grassfed and wild stuff. But, when you search you will find! We just never have to give up... there is always a way! I would never ever compromise on good stuff because of money... I would then rather move.

I live close to the shore and here is lots of fish, just, the Baltic Sea is quite polluted. But I mix it up a bit with fish from the North Atlantic , and I trust my body to be able to get the bad stuff out, I live such a healthy life. I know our body is made to clean out poisons as long as we take good care. I have calculated I get way more good than bad eating the seafood.

When I get whole fresh Norwegian mackerel (I get them only a few times / year) I always buy, but it is expensive, 14 € / kg. But I use everything! Heads and all. So if I would eat say 4 mackerels / day and then some pollock too... and grassfed fat, I would still only have spent 10 € for food that day. I am proud if I can eat for 10 € / day. I could never get under 20 € when I ate raw omnivore (lots of fruit and veggies and nuts)

but yeah... when I do oysters it raises the bill quite a lot!  ;)

Inger, Van and Sabertooth, what is the current price/lb of the cheapest animal meat (flesh, from any source, including fish, any of muscle flesh, ground meat or whole carcass) you buy and what is the meat and where do you get it (I know already that Sabertooth gets it from farms)?

I drive half an hour to a grass fed Angus farm... and buy directly from there. I barely buy meat, I take the organs. As Eric says, they are way more nutritious and even way cheaper. I get 1 heart for 10 € (13 USD) and they can be huge, maybe 2 kg? Same with tongue, 10 € each. I get fat too, very cheap, maybe 10 € / 3 kg or so. Sometimes i get it for free.... Their liver is also dirt cheap. Organs are not popular here....
Their ground meat is their cheapest meat source, cost 14 € / kg, it is 16 € / kg in the store. But I do not buy that, why, when I have the organs?
I seldom buy ground elk meat (prefrozen) anymore, it is 6 € / lb. I used to buy it a lot but I eat very little land animals anymore.

That was my meat sources.

Seafood - the cheapest is Baltic Herring fresh, and wild Pollock (North Atlantic) prefrozen. Those are both dirt cheap, 4-6 € / kg I use the heads of the herrings as smoothie.
I can get other cheap local fished fish too... for 4 € / kg. I sometimes make them into fish broth.

I also eat seaweeds, I buy from Orkos (France) and they are 100% raw and very delicious. Cost me 6-10 € / 100 grams depending on what kind of seaweed. I use different kinds.

I can get a ram for 80 € in fall - half year old or older. There is a lot of meat and fat and other yummy stuff on it. But they are usually not fully grassfed. Sure if i search i can find such too but I am not to interested in land animals meat anymore - the organs are enuf for me  ;)

Taxes yes on farm or ranch land, but basic price of land has gone up so high too.   I have been seriously thinking about switching or complimenting my protein with raising my own insects.  If you think about it, a small greenhouse filled with the right plants feeding on exceedingly high mineral based soil, could provide such a healthful balanced food source, with all the organs and bonelike structure of the insect eaten.   If anyone know of anyone doing such a thing (besides GCB and his bees) I'd love to know.  I think the trick would be to find  several different species that could propagate reliably  and live harmoniously with each other.     I asked a female friend of mine whether she'd still be my friend if i switched to insects to food...

What did she say, Van?
You need to find the insects high in DHA.........

Maybe you should start an oyster farm..... i am sure one could live on oysters

Funny.. i must be lucky! I can live way cheaper on a carnivore diet than omnivore  :) That was the reason I switched many years ago, and I have no regrets so far.  :)

I just did a budget one day, because sure if you buy organic salmon and oysters and Roquefort cheese too much it is gonna be expensive! Oysters are 2,30 € / piece, Roquefort is 52,00 € / kg and the salmon 32,00 € / kg

now, I calculated if I do

24 oysters / week
raw pre frozen Pollock (wild caught from North Atlantic) or raw Baltic Herring 500 g to 1 kg / day each day of the week
Mussels a few times / week
Grassfed heart and tongue and fat and liver as much as i want in addition to the above (I get them very cheap from a farm nearby, 1 huge tongue just 10 euro.. the fat cost almost nuthing! Neither does liver. 1 big heart is also only 10 € each)
1 bottle of the best organic raw EVOO I can get (I would not use the whole bottle in one week anyways...)
Organic onions (I eat about 1 every day)
Some organic raw nuts, say 300 g / week

that will make it cost about 150 € / week and that is fine for my budget. I am proud  :)

I can eat the best foods, and a lot of it! And still so cheap   :)  :)  :)

I do not buy salads, I eat wild greens and flowers they are for free BTW  ;)
soon will berry season start and then I will gorge on wild berries too... for free  :)

and I have planted lots of cucumbers in the garden! Peas too... and dill... and carrots.. they are practically for free too  :)
I just need to wait until they are ripe and ready. I love seasonal eating - it is so crazy exciting  :)  :)  :)

This is one interesting article about the gut flora of hunter gatherer

http://www.wired.com/2014/04/hadza-hunter-gatherer-gut-microbiome/

Quote
Many of the bacteria are species that the researchers had never seen before. And even familiar microbes were present in unusual levels in the Hadza belly. “The Hadza not only lack the ‘healthy bacteria,’ and they don’t suffer from the diseases we suffer from, but they also have high levels of bacteria that are associated with disease,” Crittenden said.

What does this tell us?

We probably know nothing about how a healthy gut flora have to look like....

that is why i do not believe in unnaturally adding "starches etc" to make it like we think it should be. What if it is wrong?
What if there is some totally different things that count....
For the one being able to see behind the curtains I feel this is a big clue....

What I do think is, we should normally not leave out anything edible that grows in season where we live..... preferably wild stuff.

I could never touch any unnatural birth control.... i just could not do it. Something in me screamed NO
I am so glad i did not. I am now 37 yo and I feel like my hormones are as healthy as when I was a teen.. maybe even better  :)  :)  :)

@ CatTreats,
your hormones will heal.. if you do the right stuff! Go with the natural light and dark cycle, also the cold thermogenesis protocol will help your hormones! Swim in natural lakes, rivers, the sea..... tan nude! Super healing for the hormones. Avoid stress at any cost. Stress = Hormone disaster

eat plenty of seafood  :) think beautiful thoughts  :)

Inger, I imagine that your diet is not all that high in fat as a percentage? But because you consume so much RAF it adds up to a nice lot of fat to provide a good base of slow release glucose? And then your metabolism must so efficient from having so many energetic but controllable electrons Krusing about that the excess proteins are easily used or disposed of  ;)

I do eat a lot fat to Alive... I guess about 60-70 % by calories, there are surely days with 80 % too in between

I add great quality raw EVOO if the seafood is not fatty.. and I can eat a lot og raw coconut oil too, lately I have not had much at all tho.
I also eat raw nuts....and raw grassfed beef fat some days. It is like candy..

I just had tongue for breakfast since long.. I do not eat it often but when, I mostly cook it gently on the wooden stove and eat it cold next day. It is about the only ting I cook... and then I sometimes eat pre cooked cold mussels. Practically everything else is raw.
I do eat a few pieces of high meat along with the meal if I happen to eat something cooked.. to just be sure I get enuf bacteria  ;)

I do drink lots of water, at least 4 liters / day from own 50 meter deep well. I am now so used to drink that much, so I do not even need to push it at all like in the beginning!

I believe ur body can lose its thirst feeling.... and it today's world with lots of man made EMF that dries our cells out... it is so important t drink a lot! But it must be good water

215
I do not quite get why I have no issues so far with high protein high fat. I eat above 100 g pure protein every single day and I feel so great! But I do heavy on seafood and just a bit raw heart or organs and fat in addition. Maybe that is why?

I really really love how I feel with such a high in seafood diet... and my skin is soft as velvet...

I have a bit high fasting blood glucose... and super great and high cholesterol and other labs are great too

It is weird that eating so much protein and having a bit high glucose still makes my AGE levels like a 5 years old. I feel like one too lol
I wonder if it is the cold and the dark that helps? And my natural living, lots of earthing and sunshine and avoiding EMF?

I just do not get it.... because I should have issues with such a high protein diet but I have none and I have done this for many years

Why don’t we eat foods that are in the rainforest like are closest relatives do? (chimps, bonobos)

....Are we cultivating the right foods?

Again, if becoming more like a chimp or bonobo is your goal, feel free to eat like them  ;)
I apologize if this sound harsh  ;)

I do not believe we need to cultivate anything.

That said... I eat local (Finland) wild flowers and greens and berries all summer long
in addition to the almost 1 kg raw seafood/organs/meat I eat every day :)

I do eat nuts too, preferably wild

I wanted to write something more but had to rescue a half dead chick...  -[

So. I think your question is weird. Like I said, why would we like to be like apes? I rather be human, seriously. We differ from animals with our brains in huge ways.

So... we need to learn what is our brain build of and what do we need as human species? What is our food, what fuels us as HUMAN?

That is when you start to see it in a different light.. and your question above becomes no question no more...
our brain needs the right fuel to function properly. If it does not get it... it is not funny

That fuel is not found in vegan foods.... not even in most land mammals/animals

I am trying to literally turn my diet into an experiment using instinctive eating.  Determining how my body reacts and what foods it needs...  I havent been posting alot lately and I have been instincively for months now.   I eat fruit, veggies, hemp seed, rare coconut oil, occasional raw meat and drink water and kombucha only.  I use my instincts and I am just wondering if I could be adding different foods.

evolution has made each person benefit from certain foods from different times periods of ancestry. so we all need various foods from different parts.  Im trying to determine what foods we still benefit from ..from the old world

Go heavy on stuff from the sea. That is my advice.

Why would anyone want to eat like a chimp..?? Do you really want to become like one??? That would be de evolution  :(

Yes... if you look for the truth you aint going to be popular... you are so right about that Edmon.

Jack practices as a neurosurgeon now BTW

When our momma duck makes me eggs I eat (drink..) them raw as they are. Very yummy!

You could make a smoothie out of the sardines, at least the heads. I do that all the time with smaller fish heads. Great stuff!

Parasites really can help allergies! I know someone that has infected himself with hookworms... and got many health benefits  :)
He is on Jack Kruse's Forum and his name is Josh, he has a journal where he tells about it. Smart guy.

Alive, I am zero carb and low carb year round..  ;)

I live in Finland and here are not much carbs at any season...

I do great with ZC in summer too, but I am crazy about everything wild!!! I love wild herbs, berries, mushrooms and flowers... but those have almost no carbs where I live.

I really believe in seasonal eating. When you do not get plenty of sunlight, carbs are going to hurt you in the long run.

And for people in high man made EMF areas around the globe, ketogenic year round....

224
I would say your issues are from dehydration? that is very common when cutting carbs...
You need to stay well dehydrated with spring or high quality well water, no fluoride or chloride.
A ketotic diet lacking plenty of water is no good idea

I drink at least 4 liter / day and I am 55 kg / 166 cm...

Also, avoid non native EMF, they are dehydrating you! Walk barefoot in the nature and avoid cities / limit cellphone use / WIFI

Do you eat seafood? This is VERY important.. to get DHA, seaweed is great too. You can soak dried seaweed and drink the water, I do that and love it!

General Discussion / Re: diarrhea from raw fish?
« on: May 21, 2014, 07:03:51 pm »
I personally seem to get diarrhea as well if I eat a sizeable enough (so, I'm not speaking about 2-3 sushi pieces) portion of raw salmon.

I might try to eat it again in September, but since it happened in a few instances and weeks/months apart, I honestly doubt it could have been a coincidence.

Have you tried other kind of fish? I would not give up so fast... try raw fresh oysters too, they are amazing! Best food on earth if you ask me... :)

might be your body needs to adjust too
