Zeno,
I cannot sleep either if eating raw meat too late. I just do not get tired.
So if eating meat for dinner I try to not eat it after 6 pm. It helps!
I eat breakfast instead. :)

I get kind of constipated if I eat only lean raw meat. I need some fat. I eat coconut oil mostly but I bet any fat will do it!
Maybe some aged meat too?

Easy. ;)
First get the juice out (stick something in the soft whole of the 3 at the end of the coconut).
Then put the coconut in a plasticbag. Take a hammer and beat the coconut around the equator, until it cracks.
Ready!

CH,
I just know that here in Finland they count Lamb brains like hazardous-waste. -X
I tried to get some but impossible. I wonder why.
The only way to know maybe, is to try it out. -\ The problem is it takes maybe so long before you will know.
Sad is, that the game eats from the fields... you gotta hunt somewhere where is  no agriculture. Maybe north?

Nope.
I go shopping as little as possible. I never run after sales etc. I just cannot stand these overfull markets and shops.. uh.
People have much to much stuff today. -X
Toys. Families with kids have toys over all!! OMG. Why not let kids play outside, make their own toys? Why not play with your children yourself? Today, the parents buy all these toys cause they have Little love to give. So they compensate it with toys, material things. It is SO sad, really. What kids need is love, time, to be with their parents. But no. Everybody is running after money, so they could by more. More of these stupid things that nobody needs. That only adds to the pollution of our planet. :'(
Goash. It hurts to see.

I do eat raw virgin coconutoil every day. About 1 tablespoon of it. I like it so much.
I wonder if it does me any harm. I feel very well, though. Hmm.
Maybe I should try to be without it for a while, and check if I feel different? Somehow I just feel that it is great for me.
I also have some troubles to get good fat here. My elkmeat is very lean. Fatty fish I can not get that often. The avocados here are not great. I do not want to eat much avocados eather.
I will soon order some grassfed fat from Germany, as it get colder. Then I will try without coconut oil and see if I feel some difference.

Mothers seem to find doctors who tell them what they want to hear.

Yes, that might be so true. Also in other aspects of life. ;)
That "hippie" culture truly did some good, I suppose. :)

Eveheart,
you just did so much right as a mother. Wow.
How was it back then, do mothers ususally let their children wean off the breast themself?
Or was it as it is nowadays - you are told to wean after 6 months.. -[

My sister breastfed her daughter until 3 years old. The girl is 12 yo now, a very clever girl.

I totally feel the same Dorothy.

How much I appreciate Nature, and love it from all my heart, I truly feel like a part of it - but I also feel so Human.
It is mystic. -X
I love animals, but I do not feel like I am one, even if I feel we do have so much in common.
Maybe.. are we 1/2 Animal 1/2 God or something? -\

I ate lungs (Elk lungs) for the first time in my life today.
I cut small pieces and chewed a bit but it was kinda strange feeling so I just swallowed them whole. :o
Taste was very mild. Not bad at all.
I also tried Elk kidneys, I never liked kidneys but I tried anyway. I just cut up pieces and swallowed. A little strange taste though.
What are kidneys and lungs good for?
I tried Elkheart too. That I loved. I love any heart I think.  -X

I wonder when I get used to kidneys and lungs. I do not care though.. I just swallow. ;)
I know it must be great stuff. I just felt amazing today. :)

Safus taste.. niceee.. ;)
A little sour touch, depending on how ripe.. Some says they tastes like goat-cheese. Could be. Or potato. ;D
They are very rich in flavour but I would say quite mild though? Fatty.. yum.
There is not much flesh on them though.
I just got some today in the post, I have not have them for a long time. I like them. :)
Really ripe, they are the best. Doesn't matter if they are a little moldy. They have to ripen  in a humid and warm place.

Thank you Jessica.
I appreciate your opinion too very much.

What do you think, would just about one to three mushrooms be fine first time?
I have these tiny small ones, Pislocybe semilanceata;

Maybe I will try just very few then. If / when I feel like it.

Dorothy,
try high heart! I love lambshearts that have gotten high. I just let them age naturally in my fridge. Not in a jar. It works.

Lambshearts give me such a nice feeling anytime! :-*
Huh. I am just in love with them. :)

I just have Biology in school (I go to high school for adults in Helsinki, almost finished :)).
My Teacher just told us, it is always better to mate someone that is genetically very different. Makes healthier babies. :)
We had about genetics etc. this week. Very intresting.
HA. Now I know.. the Vikings were very clever, travelling around and raping the beautiful women from different countries... ;)
Fresh blood. Healthy genes. >D

Thank you so much Dorothy.
I appreciate your opinion very much. I have not tried the mushrooms yet.
I do have to get the very strong urge I should do them, first.
I guess it must be possible to get spritual awareness also without the drugs, even when mushrooms are all natural.
I also think, it is better that is goes step by step.. like very slowly. ;) I guess we need to get ripe all over. :)

Elk (Moose) that is my staplemeat here in Scandinavia, have very little fat too.
Ground elkmeat has only 3 % fat. Really no fat there.

I tried to live only from local wild meat and berries etc. in the summer. Just for one week, I just got no fat at all. ??? I got such cravings for coconut(fat) I had to stop my experiment.
So there cannot have been much fat around. Of course they ate marrow and brains but there was not lot of these. I guess everybody shared them, and they were looked at as the best parts, as fat was so rare. That is why. I do not believe we need huge amounts of fat either. At least not when eating fruit and veggies as Tyler said.
For therapeutic reasons it might be great for a while though.. to fat-load. ;)

But like before, he becomes itchy all over when we get him to move his bowels.  It is as if we stirred something inside his guts and it is causing him to itch again.  What could it be?

I am guessing.. He do not like you to stir into his bowels. It must be no fun have parents stick something in your anus.. -X
I would think twice before doing that to kids. I do not mean to criticise you, might be this is a different case and really needed, I just tell how I feel about it.  :)

I also think, as YS, that he has no diverticulitis. That really is an old peoples problem.
Hemorrhoids also very often are psychological. My sister got them really bad when she had stress in her life, but they magically disappeared when stress went away. Every time. Go figure. -\

If you have a good source (organic or pastured) whole eggs are great! Eat the eggshell too if you like!
I use to make this party-joke sometimes eating the whole egg with shell and all only with my hands and teeth before friends, they think it is fun. ;) It really is very possible, the shell is not so hard at all!

I usually eat more yolks as whites though, as I like the taste better. I do like the withes too mostly!

Yes. I have been eating raw meat for 6 years now. But I too was a little concerned in the beginning - I also made this MSM (Chlorine) cleansing what my dad was really hot about for a while.. heheh. It was told to kill all parasites. Just in case. I got really nauseated from it. -X I gave it to my husband when he got a little flu and it almost killed him  :o at least he felt like that. After that I have not touched this stuff anymore. Now - even if it is years ago- I cannot really smell chlorine anymore.

Tyler, I cannot help to say,
I LOVE how you tackle this parasite thing.  :-*

(I wonder myself when I will get those parasites but they never occur? I have also eaten raw herring that I recognized later had live worms in it..eh.. but no, I frequently take a look into the toilet after **** but nothing there,
all looks perfectly great :o)

I guess you would not be able to eat "lots of" raw liver unprepared. You will get a stop-signal soon and it will taste not so good thereafter. Always eat liver raw and unseasoned, your bod will tell when enough. :)
Eat fresh saltwaterfish - not codliver oil, I would suggest. ;)

I do would supplement with vit D3 if no or little access to sun.

Oh no Sabertooth, I feel with you!
To help the wound heal, put clay on it (I use edible clay mixed with water to a paste) and cabbage leaves (that you might crush a little to get the juice come out)on the top! This is really good to heal infected wounds. Before, rinse well under cold water.
I would not eat more from the infected meat - to help your body heal. It will, I am sure as you are strong and healthy. :)
Take care. :-*

I personally get headaches from broth. I tried it twice. Both times headache. So no more broth for me. ;)
I do eat almost 100% raw though. But I do tolerate shortly cooked stuff quite well otherwise, strangely.
