General Discussion / Re: Trouble digesting raw butter
« Last post by Conor on June 05, 2022, 08:19:17 pm »
Just to update this thread it seems only aged/fermented butter has this effect on me. If its fresh it digests fine. If anyone has this problem with butter then consider keeping it in the fridge and consuming it quickly instead of being like me and keeping it in your room.

General Discussion / How can I make raw meat taste nicer
« Last post by Conor on June 05, 2022, 08:17:12 pm »
Dont get me wrong raw meat goes down really well and relaxes me but it tastes of nothing and cooked meat tastes better (unless dry and eaten by itself). Im thinking of adding curry powder or something to my meat, or making some tartare so I can enjoy eating instead of eating tasteless flesh. Has anyone got some preparation ideas? Taste is a part of wellbeing too as much as nutrients are!!
General Discussion / Re: Uruguyan beef

I have often mentioned in the past,  i hope and beleieve on this forum as well that Uruguay is a high potential country for a primal paradise, the weather is perfect for growing pasture, tons of water, temperate subtropical intermediary climate, 5 cows per human and high quality of life and low crime for a 34d world country. Also for anyone traveling in USA aldis super market here in USA has Grass fed beef from Australia and Uruguay. The Australian beef doesn't taste anywhere near as good.  They also have food grass fed steaks at 10 dollars a pound, us grown ribeys and ny strip.

It could certainly be a possiblity.

Have you looked at land prices to buy or rent?

There are other concerns besides weather and soil structure. For example, you probably wouldn't want to set this up right in the middle of spray country.

A friend showed me some of his vids some 5 months ago and I said he looks like he 100% either does or did heavy roids. My friend didn't think so. He's into bodybuilding and I'm not.

I'm often puzzled by people assuming that someone who does a natural / healthy lifestyle wouldn't do something that is clearly contrary to that goal. If anything, it's the opposite. People who are dead set on a particular activity that is known to be bad for health, tend to look for ways to counteract those negative effects.

It's certainly possible that I'm entirely wrong on my assumptions about this guy. It really doesn't matter to me if he does or doesn't. It's his life and I don't know him.

First it was 5G that was trending as the cause, now it's snake venom.

If you study germ theory vs terrain theory, you should find something worth considering.

It's not either/or.

The towers emmit high power, pinpoin targeted microwaves that fry your brain. The shots contain not only poison, but also military grade nanotech that takes over your neurons and turns you into a remote controlled toy. The combination of the two is necessary to more effectively control everything you think and do. Many die as a result, but it's not an outright extermination, at least not yet, most who die are just collateral damage. The real goal is not mass deaths, but mass control.

Thus far, frequent shots are required to renew/recharge the nano, which the body does break down. Lots of experts have proven this and get cancelled, censored or simply get a free one-way ticket to the graveyard. If I post too much here, the forum might go down too. Look it up.

The nano is self assembling and needs building blocks as well as fuel, they're probably putting those in just about everything you eat, drink and breathe. Lots of reports of this too, but I can't say for certain if we're at that point yet.

it's warm enough to walk around in a t shirt in winter/autumn though I'm not sure if it will be comfortable but the grass does grow year round yes.

For me not mixing food is key.
Even with a cooked diet this problems can be solved easily.
Vegetarian and keto diets both do that by choosing just a metabolic pathway.
My grandparents didi this all their live! And they relied on a traditional cooked high carb diet. One meal, one dish.
Normally, there was no meat, but if there was meat, there wasn't anything else. Or carbs or fatty meat.

Regarding metabolism but not digestive optimization:
You can eat vegetables with anything
Carbs on their own. Starch and sugar can be mixed. Fruit on its own (because of water content, dried fruit can be mixed with starch)
Protein with fats is perfectly good. This should be the most important part of a raw paleo diet.
Don't mix protein with starch and very important don't mix it with fruits/honey. I used to do this and I got terrible headaches everytime.
Don't mix carbs with fat, because they are the two major metabolic pathways, so that they will compete with each other (Randle cycle). I know that Aajonus claims otherwise, but I have to disagree on this one.

Let's think otherwise:
In the morning gather honey/fruits, eggs (few calories, little protein)
Succesful hunt, eat meat/fish (thrive, most of the calories and nutrients)
Unsuccesful hunt eat tubers with vegetables (little nutrition, enough calories, and a big insulin spike, in order to preserve muscle, electrolytes and survive)

I think that carbs, probably cooked starch, had a role in anthropological nutrition. Not as a healthy nurturing food, but as a fallback food. The effect of insulin when in times of scarcity would be the most important survival tool versus other predators that would starve whenever couldn't hunt.
I'm an antivegan, but I understand why it works, at least in the short term.

i feel i should add a bit to my post:
maybe ur a newbie to animal based diets?
u didn't give us any background on your situation but many health gurus are recommending doing an elimination diet to get to the root cause of your health issues; the carnivore diet seems to be a popular diet to do that.

search both kidney and high blood pressure on dr. berry's you tube site.
here's one of his monday nite live podcasts; he mentions paleo and other animal based diets at 9:15.

his monday nite podcasts are a good watch!
also scan the ''success podcasts'' on shawn baker's utube site; the success podcast list is on the upper right.

none of the above is raw but should work for raw also.
