Oh no, opioid crazed raw milk drinkers are taking over the forum.

I've been drinking it daily for a month now and have not had any problems with it.

Aajonus and his primal dieters have been drinking it forever. If these health deteriorating effects were that common it would have been mentioned in his books\dvds\talks. The primal dieters I've seen look incredibly healthy and robust.

Actionhero, where do you get your raw milk from here in the netherlands? And what's your opinion about raw butter? I think i'm gunna have to get the balls to try some raw dairy sometime soon and see how I react to it. Maybe on a friday evening so I've got all weekend to recover from any adverse effects.

I anticipated a negative reaction too mainly because of past experiences with raw butter but it didn't happen. It was very nourishing and soothing. I can eat raw butter now without problems. As for raw milk go to the website below, they all sell fresh raw milk. I can vouch for farms Boerderij De Eerste and De Dinkelhoeve as having excellent milk.

I don't agree on eating meat only 1x a week though, I think you are taking it to one extreme to another. I still eat about a 1-2 pounds of meat a day, although I only eat raw fish. Which is considerably easier to digest then red meat.

There's no way I can eat 2 pounds of meat a day right now. Raw fish yes but not raw meat. If I eat more than 300 gr I get extremely thirsty and a sort of adrenaline reaction which is unpleasant. But for all I know I could have taxed my body too much with RZC. I'm not sure yet.

I'm close to primal diet too but I don't do vegetable juicing, raw honey, raw cheese, coconut cream. Also my fruit intake is 600-1000cal which is extreme compared to primal diet recommendations. But very happy with raw milk right now.

The thing is, raw meat even though raw is still extremely hard on the body. I discovered this through my ZC experiment. A couple months in I started getting weird sleep problems like waking up every night at 2 or 3 and not being able to get more sleep. At first I thought it was the absence of carbs but introducing fruit didn't solve the problem. I had an intuitive feeling that eating so much raw meat is hard on the system even though there is no heavy feeling after eating it like you get from cooked meat.

I reduced eating raw meat to once a week and started drinking a liter of raw milk every day. Not only did my sleep problems go away immediately but my level of vitality skyrocketed. I've been on every dietary protocol out there and nothing gave me this much energy and power. I now believe that fruit and fresh living fats as found in raw eggs and raw milk is all we need and that eating raw meat once a week is beneficial and sufficient.

There seems to be a huge difference in how the body reacts to fresh living fat as opposed to stale hard white fat from meats. So not only is the protein from raw meat hard on the body the stale fat is not optimal either. The same with marrow. If it's hard white it is stale and not fresh living matter anymore. Fresh living bone marrow is slimy yellow. Since most of us don't have access to just killed animals the best alternatives to obtain these extremely nourishing fresh living fats are raw milk and raw eggs. This isn't a vegan type crusade against raw meat as I still eat it. It's just something that I noticed through experimentation.

Also you might want to look into drinking your morning urine as it seems to be a miracle cure for every damn thing bothering the body.

HED Raw Paleo? Yes it can be done but with a twist.

- 100% high cal fruitarian during summer months, 2500-3000 kcal daily

- the rest of the year high fat zero carb carnivore

That's the only way it could work. High fruit with high fat doesn't work. It creates hell inside your body. High fruit with high meat is also less than optimal. You are castrating yourself hormonally if you do so. Only ZC balances everything out and produces a strong and powerful human being. Looking back on everything I've experienced fruit is best eaten as mono food for a couple weeks but no more than 2 months. Living on fruit alone for years is stupid. It manifests in extremely weird and creepy behavior because of devolution to a lesser state of being caused by deficiencies.

Why do you think that RAW fruits or honey are superior to COOKED starches (i.e. buckwheat)?

Where do cooked starches grow? The very notion that you have to alter them in such a drastic way tells us that they are not meant for human consumption. On a healthy body you will know what does a body good and what not. Anything cooked does NOT do a body good. You'll survive on it but never thrive.

What on earth possesses such an intelligent man with a wealth of knowledge on the subject of human health & diet to start eating such obvious junk food?!

That's what you get when you believe more in data on paper than in your own experience of reality. Let KGH do raw paleo for one month and he'll have a different story to tell. But he probably won't. All the research says fructose is metabolic poison therefore fruit is nothing more than candy from trees.

Of course not. On RPD I feel beyond human more like a demigod.

This diet gives you a huge advantage over the masses with their sluggish minds and weak bodies.

You can count to outperform and outsmart them in any area. This diet turns weak and timid humans into strong and powerful individuals.

Does this Matt Stone guy even eat raw meat? If you can't even tell the difference between raw meat and cooked meat then what the hell are going around telling people to eat cooked potatoes, rice or grains. If you don't do well on RZC/VLC then try normal RPD with predominantly fruit and raw meat. If you don't do well on fruit try raw honey or raw milk for some carbs. Going back to cooked tubers, rice and grains is surely a step back in the wrong direction. I mean if RPD can't heal you why do you think semi SAD will?

Also I just read that KGH started eating rice krispies for breakfast.[FACE PALM] Well at least he's avoiding fructose-laden EVIL fruit.

Hehe and that's only 3 years. Imagine how good you will feel in 10 or 20 years on this diet.

Glorious future I foresee for fellow raw paleos.

General Discussion / Re: A question on salt
« on: July 22, 2010, 05:45:28 pm »
Yeah, salt is often used by people to distract themselves from reality or the present moment. It numbs you from your emotions and can be placed in the category emotional eating. I, having been salt free for a long time, can notice what a disturbing effect it really has on the body and mind even in small amounts. But some people do need a tiny bit of salt to remain healthy and stay functional.

Interesting how your fruit and vegetables look like something you would actually find in nature while our fruits and vegetables here in the western world look like plastic toys.

No, it's still in a jar. It's just that I put it inside a bag to prevent flies around it. Now that I think of it I could put another bag around it and just keep it in the fridge. That way I can control the bacteria and prevent it from transforming that fast. I think one day outside the fridge equals a week inside so I'm at around 3 weeks now. I'll let it sit for one more week more before I try it.

I heard that if a significant number of certain bacteria gets past the stomach and into the intestines, they can get to the adjoining organs and cause damage/failure, but I don't know.

Someone sent me a pm a couple days ago telling me he got really sick from AV style high meat. But it's not a regular poster so I don't know if he was telling the truth or not.

Just air it out regularly, preferably more than 1x a day and you'll be fine. I ate a 3 month slime sludge meat for the first time and I felt fine. It does tasty rather nasty. Kinda like old cheese.

Cool. Just the penetrating smell alone gets me super excited. We'll see what happens.

UPDATE: I thought the airtight jar would prevent the strong smell of high meat but it doesn't completely and I can notice it. So now I'm keeping it in a sealed bag on the balcony instead of my fridge. I'm airing it once a day and it's getting slimy fast. I know Aajonus keeps some of his high meat outside the fridge but his tolerance to bacteria must be through the roof from years of exposure to it. I might get really sick from the stuff. I'll see what happens to the meat and if I feel like eating it. Btw, can you die from it?

Carnivorous / Zero Carb Approach / Re: Your usual diets?

deficient in fiber? Fiber is useless and hinders digestion and absorption of real food.

Trust me there's no hunger on ZC. You'll feel energetic and strong even on one meal a day.

Why is it that we can eat a ton of sugar, no problem (big gulp sodas anyone?)

Really? LOL

Data from the 2007 National Diabetes Fact Sheet (the most recent year for which data is available)

Total: 23.6 million children and adults in the United States—7.8% of the population—have diabetes.

Diagnosed: 17.9 million people

Undiagnosed: 5.7 million people

Pre-diabetes: 57 million people

no problem?

but a few tablespoons of saturated fat alone makes us sick?

Because saturated fat is extremely powerful. Just a little bit can power a body for a loooong time and give insane amounts of both constant and explosive energy. Sugar doesn't even come close to what it's like to be fueled by raw saturated fat.

If you want to keep eating cooked food and weird plants it's OK but don't pretend that it will give you more health, energy and vitality because it won't.

At least 3 hours every day, shirtless about 30 minutes.

I'm beginning to see some transparency and elasticity talked about by Robert Cassar.

Me too. It feels paper thin, super elastic and regenerated.

Vegans who eat high grains/soy diets look pale, weak and confused.

They always have this super fake smile going on. But you can tell they are suffering.

Try raw eggs, lots of them. The fresh living raw fat might just help get over this temporary discomfort.

I can tell from experience that fat in raw eggs digests 10 times faster than marrow, suet or white solid meat fat.

Best would be to have access to freshly killed animals and eat the brain, marrow or meat fat before it turns solid and goes stale.

I think there is magic in fresh living fat.
