General Discussion / Re: do dried herbs still have oil in them?
« on: September 18, 2016, 11:49:02 pm »
So a dry herb definitely has a lot less oil in it than a fresh one?

At least, the dried will never have more than the fresh. If from same batch. Can have same or nearly same if dried carefully

Health / Healing - symptoms. Speed of healing
« on: August 28, 2016, 04:00:56 am »
Hi! What are your thoughts on the speed of healing and its effects on the body?(symtpoms)

Do an acceleration of healing make the symtomps more accentuated?

Or can be an accelerated healing with no symptom at all?

Must a healing process be accompanied with a symptom?

Is there a relation on the pus/mucus/rashes/dandruff/etc, and the reduction of inner toxemia?

How much can one trust on the symptoms being part of a detoxification of old stored toxins or a renewal of damaged tissue or a improvement on tissue qualitiy?

Is there any people here that has 'achieved' a symptom-free life. And a perfect health? With astounding agility and endurance and all that a 'great health' would mean?

AV point of view, for whose that do not know. Is that symptoms are cleansing. Having symtomps and following a raw diet is a good thing. (without entering in details)

I dont remember exactly what GCB said. But i remember he quitting dairy cause it caused symtomps. Some leaking wart or the like.  So i think he didnt believed having symtomps was something good.

I respect those 2 experienced people's views. And if i understand correctly, they are kinda opposite.

In my own case, since very young (3 years age) i remember always being the last one when running. Having a lot of difficult when stretching. Really bad for physical performance.
I"m convinced that my bones and joints have been of very low quality and/or severely damaged. What must i expect if i want to 'heal' that? Can i have a symptom free recovery and regeneration? Or i must go trough some pain and uncomfortable moments if i want to get better?

Tnx in advance! I still have a lot of doubts. Looking for your personal feelings on your own road. Do you feel that you had healed faster some place of your body or some ailment, after a symtomp manifested? Or you feel that you healed some issue without noticing any pain or discomfort?

Why so muh repression towards svrn?

Why you need to talk as if you ARE the forum and as if the forum MUST have some rules about things?

So dairy MUST be bad, and every people that say the opposite is a threat to the forum .?

This is a forum i ln the first place... Every people can share what they think is right. Don't need to be corrected by an 'old all-expert'.

Two people out of dozens have good experiences with raw dairy, and you want me to bow to you?

Plus you've already admitted that you've had extreme "detoxes" on dairy. Smart people call those "health problems".

Oh.. Very subtle way pf saying that i'm stupid.

Two people out of dozens have good experience? And what is good experience? Really.. If you see 'symptoms' as a bad thing.. Then yes. I agree with you. If you think that 'symptoms' are a good thing.. Then i don't.

I don't think coughing some mucus is 'health problem'.

I think it is the opposite.

You are symptom free, dont you? And never ever have any 'health problem'?

Why are the symptoms of 'dairy intoxication' go from one place on the body to other? And after they go from a place, that place feel better than before?

That feels like regeneration to me. 'healing'.

It is confusing mostly because of that. Cause if you see coughing mucus as a bad thing then its a different story. In that case, people doing bad on raw milk would be actually good.

And i'm not having extreme detoxes. I'm having detoxes.never said extremes. Extreme was when i had peritonitis or chicken pox. But never had those things with dairy. Just colds and flu and rashes that last for hours sometimes.

I'm looking forward to your research svrn!

I also think here are some people trying to discredit aajonus without reason.

I don't think no one of members here that claim to be so knowledgeable are symptom free on their lives. Just reading their posts reveals that they are still healing. And they deny it.

Personally.. After so many DETOX from doing lots of dairy and all this primal diet i'm every week more confident and convinced that i'm actually healing. I feel better and better as time is going on. I do tnx to have raw dairy on the healing.

I love dairy. Calming. Relaxing. Makes me happy and to be happy with other people. When i compare that to when i ate fruit eggs and meats (no dairy) i feel more sociable now. I don't hate so much anymore.

The confusing subject i think is the 'symptom' thing. Is having a 'disease', a good or a bad thing? Cause people judges milk from that point of view mostly. Cause eating dairy cause 'symptoms' , so dairy is bad.

You can see it as your body being sick by the food itself, or the food 'pushing' toxins or low quality tissue (being replaced) on the body.

And the personal view on symptoms and sickness is what makes every one have some foods and don't have anothers.

I personally think and BELIEVE that primal foods (meat eggs dairy honey juices) do 'push' and replace old garbage tissue on my body.
This belief is backed up by an increased state of wellbeing. Never i am feeling worse than before. I can be really wrong. Time will tell. Also i can be 'delaying' the healing. I don't know. I will love to know someone that NEVER gets a symptom or sickness and that have a perfect functioning body.

I'm very grateful to aajonus. Great researcher. Had teach so much. And some subjects it had take so much personal experimentation to understand it.

He said thst he analyzed feces many times after eating cheese with and without honey.

And found cheese intact when eaten alone. And completely digested when eated just with a tiny amount of cheese. I think it is like 1/8 honey of 1 part cheese.

He recommended eating cheese and honey 35 min after meat meal. As supplement. And 10 min after meat meal a 1/4 tsp cheese alone to absorb poisons dumped in stomach and not re-digest them with the honey-cheese combo.

Primal Diet / Re: AV's daily diet

If you look on their website and look through all the info. You will see he stating that some days he only ate eggs. Those days he ate between 20-30 eggs to not lose weight.

He said that when he felt the healthiest he eat mainly meat, dairy and eggs, no honey , and a piece of fruit every 2-3 days. A cup of veggie juice every week. 1 cup of water per week.
I remember reading that 3-4 tablespoons of starches were sufficient for him for 1 month.

He wss very fond of high eggs and high meats

A lot of people ruined their lives to some extent by listening to AV's detox theories, myself included. I am sure that some people do fine on AV's artificial diet, but not many. AV also recommended things like overating. In actual fact, since raw foods mostly contain more nutrients than cooked foods(due to heating/cooking depleting nutrients), it is not necessary to eat as much on a RVAF diet.

As regards AV's claims in his first 2 books, I am right on target there. I remember reading the recipes and finding out that most contained raw dairy in them. Perhaps AV's revised edition of WWTL in the last few years is significantly different from the earlier books, I admit I haven't read it.

Well, the recipes are not the diet. Are just that, recipes. To make people hunger for meat. That is on his own words.

If you haven't even read the updated versions of his books. Why you quote him so much? Every time i read you saying "aajonus recomendation re something" it is usually something different to what i'm reading from him.

I'm not against you. Just want to give credit to someone that has really helped me understand my body.

That is why i comment thst here. This is primal diet forum.

And overeating was part of the program for sick people too.

I don't know if it is neccessary or not. But he believed being thin could make you very bad due to toxic environment and pollution and cities (not having fats to store environmental and induatrial toxins, due to our actual world.). He cited masai as the healthiest (and they are thin, but in pristine environment)

He did not wrote more books. He wrote "newsletters" and there are like hundreds of hours of lectures by him, and questions made by his patients.

I insist, you are misinterpreting his diet. It's not what you say it is. It is what it is. And there is so much information that even you that are so anti-AV would be surprised to see how much in tune with your actual diet he is.

I will not explain in details what is all about. But i recommend anyone feeling in touch with him, to seek for the latest info.

He didn't wanted to make new books cause it was a waste of money. Internet was better to communicate.

And also.. A lot of people feel blessed by his info and help. I dont believe anyone ruined his life by following a specific diet given by him. You misinterpet his books and believe you are doing primal diet and mainly eating fruits honey cream and nuts. And that is not primal diet. But people tend to look for support for their sugar adiction and found in primaldiet a great excuse.

Primal diet is not a high sugar diet. He never recomended not even starches nor honey nor fruits in high amounts.

Just wanted to make users aware that this forum on primal diet has little to do with real primal diet.

General Discussion / Re: Question for chicken-farming RPDers
« on: July 18, 2016, 03:52:02 pm »
If you want to push egg production it is best to feed them grain, they have been genetically selected and feeded to do that.

If you dont give any seed but they have all free space to forage on wild native land, you will have best eggs ever. Maybe not too much, but the denser, yes.

I'm actually raising chickens and feeding corn and sorghum soaked on whey. Crushed bones and meat and fat leftovers. I can tell they are the best eggs i have tried. And they have all free space to forage. Native and growed land

For example.. He recommend 1/4 tsp maximum honey, and if you have taste for it. He says when you are healthy you don't need it anymore.

He says dairy "allergies" (detox) stops after you finish detoxing. And that he was not having more symptoms just few years before his death.
Same with eggs.

Re veggie juice. He says he drank 1 cup per week cause he was already healed. It was a need for ill people only

Also he says that if you can eat all your meat high, is much better than fresh.

Well.. I felt like comenting this cause i like his work. I feel in tune with his findings

After getting access to members area of ww2live.com i can tell that tylerdurden is misquoting aajonus on a lot of things. Are you up to the research and modifications he made from years 2005-2013? Huge changes.

All things that are being said here are mostly lies. I recommend that you investigate what was his late info.

Just too many misquotes here.

Raw Weston Price / Re: Unrefined Salt Experiments
« on: July 18, 2016, 01:09:55 pm »
I'd start sampling at one month because you should start noticing "mature" fermentation flavors at this time.

What kind of fish did you start with?

It is called 'merluza' in argentina. Lean sea fish.

I want to wait 5 months to make sure bacteria digests the salt first. I don't care about taste. I love high meat :)

It already has 1 month

2 weeks ago i tried salt again. After 2 years without any. Himalayan pink salt.
I started a big batch of high fish (3 kg) with approx 3 tbsp of salt.
A week later i washed it, and choped in cubes. Then started to eat.  First bite was awful, and i instantly thought 'I ruined 3 kg of fish'.
Second night couldn't sleep due to headache. Still ate it for 3-4 days more. All nights headache. I still have that batch there on the fridge.

I hope when it ferments, sodium gets softened by bacteria. Or more absorbable without ill effects. Will wait at least 5 months.

Totally negative for me, despite what all people said. I wanted to try cause reading 'curemanual' and westonprice fundation. Stupid me. Aajonus was right? Headache are almost always cause of salt? I think so now.

General Discussion / Re: The Holy Grail of food combinations!
« on: July 04, 2016, 09:57:06 am »
I find food-combinations dodgy. I far prefer mono-eating. That way, I enjoy the taste more. The only exception is the occasional time I may add some freshly-squeezed raw lemon-juice to my raw seafood or when I add some raw herb like basil to my raw meats.

The best 10 raw foods I have liked have been:-

1) raw swordfish steak
2) raw wild boar
3) raw oysters
4) raw mussels
5) raw lobster
6) raw scallops
7) raw moufflon
8 ) raw grassfed beef marrow(the wt kind not the dry stuff)
9) raw mackerel
10) raw wild hare

You made me wish swordfish so much putting it first on that list!!!

If i'm going to mix different foods, i like to process or liquefied. So it is like a 'new' food. But it is all the same taste and every bite is the same food.
So i can be more aware of the taste changes and digestion is good this way. But in general, whole food is tastier.

God i love raw fatty fish

« on: July 04, 2016, 04:19:09 am »
Never cheat?  Never say never.  I find that hard to believe.  Don't get me wrong the raw paleo style is cool but I just don't think it is something to take too seriously.  Everyone will listen to you if you live to be 200.

I live alone on a farm now. And been living almost alone withouth friends since 2 years approx. Why i would cheat? To be accepted by others? I love them to see i"m eating raw foods and they start question. So i can throw something new into their minds. Bit in general i eat with my cats and dog. They have same diet as me.

I don't like coffee, salt, alcohol, cigarettes. Cooked foods make me overeat always. Why i would cheat?

Cheating myself.. About my higer ideals and way of living. Why? It was a hard road to get here and get out of all addictions. I don't change this for a piece of bread anymore. At least not in my actual mindset.

I do never cheat. Don't like to cheat myself, i'm actually very convinced about raw diet.

Haven't had social meals for more than a year. Ha... Last social meal i brought my raw meat and didn't give a fuck about what others think.

General Discussion / Re: Ideas for making liver more palatable?
« on: June 30, 2016, 08:28:28 am »
I do personally think that if you don't like a food. You don't have to eat that.

Why would you?

If you don't enjoy your food you must find a food you enjoy. If you dont enjoy food, you will overeat and overtax your body (with other foods after). If you enjoy, you eat right amounts without weighting anything.

General Discussion / Re: Getting acclimated to raw fat.....
« on: June 30, 2016, 08:20:02 am »
Personally i have to suck and lick fats (not chew) to enjoy the full flavor of fat.

If i bite on fat, it's like too much and is kinda disgusting. But sucking slowly is the most enjoyable experience i have when eating. So many different flavors on little pieces of fat. Be it butter, flax oil, or any animal flesh fat.

I think it has something to do with salivary enzymes breaking down fat and releasing the flavor from it. If you chew big piece, you beed too much enzymes and you will not feel the good flavour.

My 2 cents

Haha.. I think i will continue feeding that to her.

Really interesting that study you mention.

Cat yesterday hunted a rat. She was full and didnt ate. It Smell really good but didn't had the guts to eat.. I think i was full too :P

Any advice on feeding ducks and goose? I'm giving all animals (sheep pig chickens ducks and goose) same food. Corn.. Wheat.. Sorghum.. Sunflower.. And will get some dry hay these days. Also giving meat and fats to all except sheep.
