Francis, I'm really interested in making high fish, so basically you just cut in pieces, put in fridge and air everyday? Or? Did I miss something? And for how long? Can I/should I add some ingredients or just 100% fish? Thanks!

Chop fish in small pieces, so that it ferments faster because there is more surface area and so you don't have to break it up when you start eating it. Also, use fresh fish. Stuff it in a glass jar and put it in the fridge. Air it every other day so monday then wednesday then friday.. etc. Stir the contents from time to time as well to make sure all pieces are exposed to air and thus can ferment. Try a piece after 1 month, it is usually done/strong enough after 2 or 3 months. Don't add other ingredients.

BTW, normal high meat stinks already, so make sure to use another fridge than your main fridge. I use a small mini fridge to ferment and in there is like 3 boxes and 3 layers of plastic bags to contain the smell lol.

The truth is that if you aren't willing to eat raw meat, you won't change your anything about your health and feel stuck in this negative cycle forever.

For me it was easier, all the foods that you ''cheat'' with actually make me feel terrible. I had to start eating raw meat just to feel alive/OK, that makes it easier.

A tip I can give is just to make sure you eat 200g of raw meat a day. As long as you sneak that in there every day you will be making progress, though slower than going all raw. Also, try to avoid the sweets and addicting stuff by eating raw meat instead when you get the urge for those addictive foods.

If you truly want to heal quickly/efficiently without eating a lot of raw meat every day, making a good ''high meat'' is the way to go. A properly fermented high meat (3/4 months old, fridge fermented, aired every 2 days, I recommend chicken) is so powerful that merely eating 1 piece every 3 or 4 days yields a ton of benefits for your body. Still, it requires dedication by buying a small mini fridge and taking care of the ferment, and I don't know anything about your living situation so it is possible that this interferes with your social life.

My point is, you have to get real and commit to this diet. If that takes telling your surroundings about it, then that is a step you must take (we've all been there). Once you actually start eating it you will realise that it is easy; eat the right food and you will feel better, there is nothing else to it.

I would keep it in the fridge if you make it. It takes longer but the result is way better. Air every other day.

Get rid of the supplements. Nothing paleo about it. Also experiment with leaving out Dairy. Sometimes people don't do well on it.

It would definitely be worth investigating that (not the kind of thing i study though). I enjoy specially high liver and agree with its benefits, having experienced them myself. It's true that people should know about this kind of stuff for their own benefit, but thats not the direction medicine is/has been taking... its not about health, its about keeping you drugged and squeezing you out of your money.

While that's true, there are still plenty of doctors that really want to help people with whatever ails them. I know you are studying the wrong side though, the side that is more focused on ''producing'' medicine. Even the idea of ''producing'' medicine is funny to me now. The medicine is already there.. you just need to eat it. Anyway, I hope to get some of my friends on board that study the human gut microbiome and its relation to human health. If they experience the power of high meat they surely should be interested in what really makes the high meat work? My guess is an abundance of vitamine k2, but who knows. Anyways, welcome again.

Are you interested in researching High Meat? Sometimes I think that high meat as a cure for depression would be the only thing powerful enough to cause a paradigm shift in modern medicine (to raw meat/food).

I'm 5'5 and have weighed between 8 s 9 ib and 7 9 ib (I'm closer to the latter now) which is a healthy BMI for my height.
I do eat plenty of raw honey, (though have never added it to the milk) and have drunk plenty of raw milk, but nothing seems to make me feel any different.
As an experiment, I tried avoiding fats and going back into fruit, and I don't get the heavy digestive fatigue I get from the meat and fats.. Slowly I've been adding eggs and liver, and feel the same, as they don't have too much fat content. No yucky feelings yet.
I'll keep upping those, and will try oxbile tablets and beet kvass to stimulate my bile production to break up the fats, but I don't even know if that's the problem, as I don't have most of the symptoms of malabsorption...
I have some high meat and high liver in the go, to see if that does anything.

I feel like we are in similar situations. I also have trouble digesting fats, especially red meats.

I started eating raw chicken only and am currently making high chicken. I recommend you to do the same, ditch the high liver and only make high muscle meat. It is possible you have gallbladder stones/problems that are hard to get rid of. The only thing that is really effective is good high meat. This is why you should do the following exactly: get a new fresh jar that hasn't been used for high meat/fermentation before and make high chicken in your fridge. air it every 3 days or so and stir the contents to make sure all sides are rotten. Use fresh chicken. I found that high meat actually dissolves gallbladder stones, but only if it's done in the proper way I just described. Red meat is hard for gallbladder patients to digest, other people have said the same.

Ball/Kerr mason jars should work with proper lids.  to make a good seal, i sometimes put a lite duty poly/produce bag over the jar opening before putting on the lid.  it also works for lids that don't have a seal.

So you mean a plastic bag under the ring and band parts? Doesn't this prevent the jar from actually sealing properly?

I want to make high meat in a place where I want to limit the smells. Does anyone know if one can keep the jars air-tight (and thus preventing nasty smells from escaping the jar) by replacing the lid every time one opens the jar to let some air in? Ball/Kerr mason jars should be able to do this right?

I would just refresh the air in the jar outside somewhere the smell can escape in the open air, then put on a new lid and make it seal tightly, put it back in the fridge.

 Thoughts or other tips?

From my experiences I can say that raw meat is easier to digest than cooked meat. Try some raw chicken and see for yourself. It should fix your leaky gut slowly, from the get-go.

I think it's more due to gaining perfect posture as one is nourished with raw foods. Growing a few inches would only be possible if one was fed a raw animal foods diet since young/puberty.

Weed and mushrooms? Really? They fry your brain.. I live in Amsterdam where it's part and parcel of every adolescent growing up to atleast try weed once. The ones that keep taking it all end up being paranoid and emotionally unavailable.. I really never thought you would be into that Derek.. I am extremely disappointed.

Oh, good to know! Where do you source your chicken from? I don't think I could trust supermarket poultry.
It seems strange that you can't tolerate red meat, when our ancestors would be hunting both birds, fish and mammals though. Do you think it's just the effects of previous diets causing it?

I have no clue what caused it. The only one who even mentions red meat intolerance in a raw meat context is Aajonus. He says some people are riddled with adrenaline and other hormone toxicity that causes them to be susceptible to red meat (I also react strongly to caffeine, onions, garlic and most processed foods) I do also notice that his claim that this type of person gets a tan quite easily, seems to be correct in my case as well.

I buy organic chicken from the supermarkets and never had any problems with that.

I had the same problem as you, to a certain degree. What I found out is that I couldn't tolerate red meat. I was eating supermarket mince too and thought it was due to supposed ''bad quality'' that my health wasn't improving. When I started eating raw chicken only, without any forms of red meat, I started actually improving quickly.

Try to eat raw white meat (chicken) for a week and see if you feel better. Make sure to not eat any red meat at all in this week.

Well, I've been a heavy Trump critic since I first learned who he was back in 2012. I'm certainly not part of the fake right wing MAGA crowd. To call MAGA right wing extremism is highly deceptive. The MAGA crowd is simply national socialism, which is a brand of socialism and very much a part of the radical left. Meanwhile the Harris crowd (Biden will be irrelevant) is simply communism, which is another brand of socialism and therefore also part of the radical left.


What we call it doesn't matter. I mean the right wing groups active right now that are becoming a target of censorship.

@Dingeman When someone posts these sweeping generalizations, please know that not everyone agrees with what YOU say.  And no one person here should be so audacious to try to dictate their beliefs to everyone else to try to suppress disagreement - YOU'RE the one being extreme here.  Any Trump supporter is totally aware and experienced with the censorship and hate against us (shown here) and we know we're never allowed to share our beliefs.  I didn't come on here to post about Trump and never intended to because that's not what this forum is about.  But YOU brought it up.  YOU are now trying to censor people here.  Only MODERATORS can tell us what to say and what not to say, and I don't think you are one.   

My beliefs are more libertarian, and I'm the only one who has consistent logic in their beliefs when I speak to people on the left.  I want total control over my own body.  Republicans want to use me as a baby incubator, and Democrats want to use me for their medical experimentation.  My body belongs to ME.   


Never said you couldn't talk about it. Don't strawman me. I am just saying that if we start connecting raw meat to the growing right-wing censorship problems, we can eventually expect actual censorship. It is in our best interests, as raw meat eaters, to ignore our connection to certain political discourses, both left-wing and right-wing.

I have been reading more and more about different types of fermentations and I think I got some answers as to why this happens to my ferment all the time. I will do another experiment to see if I can prevent it.
