Health / Re: 2 years, health not improving
« on: May 07, 2021, 04:44:57 pm »
I'm 5'5 and have weighed between 8 s 9 ib and 7 9 ib (I'm closer to the latter now) which is a healthy BMI for my height.
I do eat plenty of raw honey, (though have never added it to the milk) and have drunk plenty of raw milk, but nothing seems to make me feel any different.
As an experiment, I tried avoiding fats and going back into fruit, and I don't get the heavy digestive fatigue I get from the meat and fats.. Slowly I've been adding eggs and liver, and feel the same, as they don't have too much fat content. No yucky feelings yet.
I'll keep upping those, and will try oxbile tablets and beet kvass to stimulate my bile production to break up the fats, but I don't even know if that's the problem, as I don't have most of the symptoms of malabsorption...
I have some high meat and high liver in the go, to see if that does anything.

Thanks for your take =)

I feel like we are in similar situations. I also have trouble digesting fats, especially red meats.

I started eating raw chicken only and am currently making high chicken. I recommend you to do the same, ditch the high liver and only make high muscle meat. It is possible you have gallbladder stones/problems that are hard to get rid of. The only thing that is really effective is good high meat. This is why you should do the following exactly: get a new fresh jar that hasn't been used for high meat/fermentation before and make high chicken in your fridge. air it every 3 days or so and stir the contents to make sure all sides are rotten. Use fresh chicken. I found that high meat actually dissolves gallbladder stones, but only if it's done in the proper way I just described. Red meat is hard for gallbladder patients to digest, other people have said the same.

Ball/Kerr mason jars should work with proper lids.  to make a good seal, i sometimes put a lite duty poly/produce bag over the jar opening before putting on the lid.  it also works for lids that don't have a seal.

So you mean a plastic bag under the ring and band parts? Doesn't this prevent the jar from actually sealing properly?

3
I want to make high meat in a place where I want to limit the smells. Does anyone know if one can keep the jars air-tight (and thus preventing nasty smells from escaping the jar) by replacing the lid every time one opens the jar to let some air in? Ball/Kerr mason jars should be able to do this right?

I would just refresh the air in the jar outside somewhere the smell can escape in the open air, then put on a new lid and make it seal tightly, put it back in the fridge.

 Thoughts or other tips?

Primal Diet / Re: Is it safe to eat raw meat with low stomach acid?

From my experiences I can say that raw meat is easier to digest than cooked meat. Try some raw chicken and see for yourself. It should fix your leaky gut slowly, from the get-go.

I think it's more due to gaining perfect posture as one is nourished with raw foods. Growing a few inches would only be possible if one was fed a raw animal foods diet since young/puberty.

Weed and mushrooms? Really? They fry your brain.. I live in Amsterdam where it's part and parcel of every adolescent growing up to atleast try weed once. The ones that keep taking it all end up being paranoid and emotionally unavailable.. I really never thought you would be into that Derek.. I am extremely disappointed.

Why does it say in the article that you are charged for drug charges? or was that from years ago before you ate raw meat?

Has anyone ever added water to their high meat to keep it from going dry? is that fine to do or do problems arise?

Oh, good to know! Where do you source your chicken from? I don't think I could trust supermarket poultry.
It seems strange that you can't tolerate red meat, when our ancestors would be hunting both birds, fish and mammals though. Do you think it's just the effects of previous diets causing it?

I have no clue what caused it. The only one who even mentions red meat intolerance in a raw meat context is Aajonus. He says some people are riddled with adrenaline and other hormone toxicity that causes them to be susceptible to red meat (I also react strongly to caffeine, onions, garlic and most processed foods) I do also notice that his claim that this type of person gets a tan quite easily, seems to be correct in my case as well.

I buy organic chicken from the supermarkets and never had any problems with that.

I had the same problem as you, to a certain degree. What I found out is that I couldn't tolerate red meat. I was eating supermarket mince too and thought it was due to supposed ''bad quality'' that my health wasn't improving. When I started eating raw chicken only, without any forms of red meat, I started actually improving quickly.

Try to eat raw white meat (chicken) for a week and see if you feel better. Make sure to not eat any red meat at all in this week.

Well, I've been a heavy Trump critic since I first learned who he was back in 2012. I'm certainly not part of the fake right wing MAGA crowd. To call MAGA right wing extremism is highly deceptive. The MAGA crowd is simply national socialism, which is a brand of socialism and very much a part of the radical left. Meanwhile the Harris crowd (Biden will be irrelevant) is simply communism, which is another brand of socialism and therefore also part of the radical left.

What we call it doesn't matter. I mean the right wing groups active right now that are becoming a target of censorship.

@Dingeman When someone posts these sweeping generalizations, please know that not everyone agrees with what YOU say.  And no one person here should be so audacious to try to dictate their beliefs to everyone else to try to suppress disagreement - YOU'RE the one being extreme here.  Any Trump supporter is totally aware and experienced with the censorship and hate against us (shown here) and we know we're never allowed to share our beliefs.  I didn't come on here to post about Trump and never intended to because that's not what this forum is about.  But YOU brought it up.  YOU are now trying to censor people here.  Only MODERATORS can tell us what to say and what not to say, and I don't think you are one.

My beliefs are more libertarian, and I'm the only one who has consistent logic in their beliefs when I speak to people on the left.  I want total control over my own body.  Republicans want to use me as a baby incubator, and Democrats want to use me for their medical experimentation.  My body belongs to ME.

Never said you couldn't talk about it. Don't strawman me. I am just saying that if we start connecting raw meat to the growing right-wing censorship problems, we can eventually expect actual censorship. It is in our best interests, as raw meat eaters, to ignore our connection to certain political discourses, both left-wing and right-wing.

It is important that we do not lump ourselves together with the whole MAGA/right wing extremist crowd. It would make us an unnecessary target for censorship.

I have been reading more and more about different types of fermentations and I think I got some answers as to why this happens to my ferment all the time. I will do another experiment to see if I can prevent it.

Primal Diet / High Meat - Starting Bacteria/Yeast Culture Problem
« on: December 14, 2019, 08:19:00 pm »
Hey everyone.

I have been fighting candida for a long time now, slowly getting better but I just need to do a final addition to really get over it in the form of a probiotic.

When I make high meat I notice that some sort of yeast seems to grow on top, when I eat this type of high meat I seem to get very frustrated and angry, and my emotions seem to go away until the next morning. However, I have eaten other high meat that didn't seem to have this yeast, and that high meat made me very happy, as other people described the effect of high meat for them.

Now, I know I get the same reaction from eating yeasty foods, so I know that I am attracting the wrong type of fermentation bacteria. My question is how can I avoid this? I know that freezing kills yeast if it is in a hydrated environment, so I could try freezing fresh meat to render the yeast cells inactive, and then allowing the bacteria to take over before the yeast can colonize the fermenting product. Or I could try using a conventional starter culture for fermentation, however I do risk not getting the natural bacteria needed that produce the good high. Does anyone have any advice?

Raw Weston Price / Re: Where does he mention homosexuality
« on: December 02, 2019, 08:14:19 pm »
Bear in mind that Weston-Price was a man of his times. For example, he also suggested that criminals became criminals because of poor nutrition. This does not make much sense, though. After all, the biggest, most successful criminals in society bare white-collar ones, who, due to their wealth, usually manage to buy their way out of trouble/being convicted etc. I mean, Tony Blair is one of the biggest crooks alive, but he does not seem that malnourished compared to the rest of the population. As regards homosexuality, I see it more as another way of  social bonding rather than sex, as no children are involved(well not between the 2 relevant individuals, anyway). Also, there is a spectrum for many things, so rich people cannot exist without there being poor people, and so on.

I think it was found that criminals on average had much lower cholesterol. The same for vegans. The malnourishment or cholesterol deficiency could explain their violent/criminal tendencies.

Raw Weston Price / Re: Where does he mention homosexuality

Again I hearken back to the hermaphroditic sea worm and amphibian ancestors.

When society artificially segregates the genders during early development and places people within rigid sociological hierarchies, this simulates the same conditions which triggers gender morphing in amphibians. The mere perception of limited mating choices within a sexually segregated society can trigger the activation of latent amphibian hermaphrodite tendencies.

These trends and tendencies caused by the sexual segregation of the youth, can be further aggravated by a number of other factors. The hormonal disruption caused by the plastics, soy and atrazine...as well as the widespread effect of disruption of the pheromone feedback systems with the use systematic enforcement of deodorant and skin microbiol sterilization. Many people are so isolated from the opposite gender while growing up they develop a physical aversion to the natural pheromones of the opposite sex. These mechanisms evolved for the healthy expression of sexual selection have been perverted by the structural hierarchical, sociological conditioning and technological systems of modern society!

So you say that homosexuals grow up around a lot of women and not ''enough'' men? Or do you mean it the other way around?

I live in a place where there are a lot of homosexuals. Here is what I have noticed so far from being around these people.

A lot of the homosexuals do a lot of drugs or alcohol, usually because they go to parties so much.
These parties are usually gay/queer/whatever parties and attract a lot of like-minded people.
Homosexuals have a lot of casual and experimental sex, they seem to sleep with someone very quickly and also seem to forget about the people they slept with rather quickly. Polyamorous relationships are not uncommon.

In their appearance I would say most are thin and tall. There are some ''ripped'' homosexuals but they are usually on steroids or other drugs. Their feminime appearance is also something worth noting, usually combined with a feminime way of acting as well. Overall they seem to come across as very fake to me.. in the same sense as American TV shows or the average American on TV come across as fake.

I know from some homosexuals I know personally that they suffer from a lot of mental health issues. Anxiety/depression/burn-out, you name it. It could very much be related to their thinness/malnourishment. Something in the gut must be not working the way it should be. I can feel myself getting manlier on this diet so something gut related could cause the opposite to happen.

Palaeo women did a lot of physical exercise, it's needed and natural. I do agree re the extra layers of fat on women being a sign of health, though.

Yes but not to gain muscles or to lose fat. These girls are trying to lose fat and appear muscular for pageants of whatever.

She does look good. But I wish more women would stress the importance of a natural body.. working out is an unhealthy ideal for women. For men to some extent.

I've seen them before somewhere. The working out they do is so terrible for females.. Women ideally have a nice layer of fat. They train all of their fat away and it looks terrible.. Even though they eat raw, their faces look thin and fragile.

Usually cooking is what makes the bacteria in these unhealthy meats toxic. If it's edible raw then meat is safe. If it isn't edible raw, eating it undercooked will make you ill.
